The Mathematics Department of the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University invites applications for a full-time Visiting Faculty position beginning in September 2025. The appointment will be at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, Visiting Associate Professor, or Visiting Professor.

The successful applicant will teach two courses per semester in the areas of Topology, Geometry, and Algebra.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 - 80,000 at the Visiting Assistant Professor level, $80,000 - $120,000 at the Visiting Associate Professor level, and $100,000 - $160,000 at the Visiting Full Professor level. Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field is required.
