Description
The Kussell lab at NYU Biology is looking for a highly motivated and independent individual to work as a Postdoctoral Associate.
Current projects in the Kussell lab investigate gene regulation and phenotypic memory, stochastic switching, cell size control, and recombination in bacteria.
Planned projects require a high degree of proficiency in evolutionary theory, mathematical and computational biology, and population genetics with an emphasis on microbial population biology.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500 – $63,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
