Role Overview:
We are looking for a knowledgeable Product Owner with experience in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to join our Identity and Access Management team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in owning, implementing and migrating MFA solutions within a large enterprise environment. Specific focus on Cisco DUO, RSA SecurID, and Microsoft Authenticator would be beneficial. This role demands an IAM specialist capable of leading the delivery of the MFA strategic roadmap. We are embarking on a transformation of our Identity technology and MFA is a key component of the journey to enhance our security and end-user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Ownership: Own the product backlog and deliver incremental value through adoption of agile principles.
- MFA Implementation & Migration: Drive the migration from Cisco DUO and RSA SecurID to Microsoft Authenticator, ensuring minimal disruption to services and user experience.
- Technical Expertise: A good level of technical knowledge is required to coach and manage a team of SME engineers.
- Design & Architecture: Collaborate with architecture teams to design robust MFA solutions that meet the security needs of the organization while complying with industry regulations.
- Policy Development: Own the creation of a risk based conditional access policy and engineer an enterprise solution that adapts to people, device and application posture changes.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Implement monitoring solutions to track MFA usage, analyze performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management regarding MFA effectiveness and potential improvements.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments related to identity and access management, identifying vulnerabilities and proposing remediation strategies.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Several years of experience across Identity and Access Management disciplines, including a focus on Multi-Factor Authentication solutions.
- Experience operating as a Product Owner, driving a backlog of prioritized work.
- Proven experience in working with financial institutions, understanding regulatory compliance, and security requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco DUO, RSA SecurID, and Microsoft Authenticator would be beneficial
- Strong knowledge of identity protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and enterprise security frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
