Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support agile development teams building Python-based applications and microservices aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Drive innovation through exploration and integration of AI/ML technologies.
• Oversee software quality through participation in code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to software development best practices.
• Drive containerization (Docker, Podman) and CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins, GitLab)
• Utilize AWS cloud-native technologies and services to build, deploy, and scale applications
• Lead and manage the stability, availability, and security of applications to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes to minimize downtime and operational risks.
• Lead root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to identify systemic issues and implement preventive measures
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, automation, and incident prevention.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, cybersecurity, and application support teams to maintain robust, scalable, and compliant IT environments.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery processes.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

• Candidate with 10+ years of IT experience
• Software development experience, especially with Python and modern web frameworks, microservices architecture, and front-end tech
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and ability to drive innovation through related POCs and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker, Podman), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure, including hands-on expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-native applications and services.
• Excellent understanding of incident, problem, and change management using tools such as ServiceNow
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Good communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning capabilities.
