We are the engineering team in Nomura Group, a leading company in the industry having a strong global presence among Japanese financial institutions. Our Japan Business Service Group belongs to Corporate IT, which develops applications for domestic departments and group companies of Nomura Securities using Agile methodology. Our mission is to contribute to the promotion of DX in cooperation with Business users, with agile development of "Made in Japan" quality utilizing the latest technology. Engineers are flexibly involved with a wide variety of in-house development and projects. Communication within the team is in Japanese and sometimes in English as it is made up of multinational members. | | | Responsibilities：
私たちの組織では、スタートアップ的なカルチャーのもと、並行して複数の開発やプロジェクトを手掛けています。社内にはDevOpsツールの環境が整っており、JIRA、Confluence、GitLab、Jenkins、Ansible、Selenium等を使って、デプロイやテストを自動化したアジャイルな開発手法を採用しています。
今回、野村グループのシステムの提案・開発・運用を担う開発者から開発チームを率いる開発リードまで、幅広い役割を果たす人材を募集します。担当業務としては、UK、US、シンガポールなどの海外拠点とのシステム・データ連携や、東京のビジネスユーザの要望に基づくアプリケーション開発を担っていただきます。開発は東京メンバーを中心に、インドの開発チームとも連携しながら進めていただきます。
なお、コミュニケーションには日本語・英語の両方を使用します。いずれか一方をネイティブレベルで使用でき、もう一方の言語にも前向きにチャレンジできる方を歓迎します。
Our organization works on multiple development initiatives and projects in parallel within a startup-like culture. We have a well-established DevOps tool environment in place, and we adopt an agile development approach with automated deployment and testing using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, and Selenium.
We are looking for talent who can take on a wide range of roles, from developers responsible for proposing, developing, and operating solutions for Nomura group entity system, to development leads who can guide the team. The entity is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nomura Holdings, and has been making progress to consolidate and manage the derivatives and securities positions and risk of Nomura Group entities outside Japan.
As part of your responsibilities, you will manage system and data integration with global inter entity as the UK, US, Singapore and etc., as well as application development based on the requirements of business users in Tokyo. Development will be led primarily by the Tokyo team, while also working closely with the development team in India.
Communication will involve both Japanese and English. While native-level proficiency in both languages is not required, we welcome candidates who can use either Japanese or English at a native level and are eager to take on the other language. | | 想定される責務 / Expected responsibilities： | - 東京を起点に、グローバルで実装するためのクライアントおよび Web ベースのアプリケーションの両方の新規および保守のアプリケーション開発と管理、ソリューションはすべて自社開発によるDevOpsを利用したAgileな方法論を適用します。
- 利害関係者とビジネス要件を擦り合わせ・関係部署と連携し、タイムリーにそれらを取りまとめ。
- アジャイル開発チームの開発者としてシステムのアーキテクチャー設計・開発。
- CI/CDパイプライン の構築・運用保守。
- テスト ケースを管理する責任ある開発者として行動し、SIT/E2E/UAT などのテストケースをレビューし、システム実装のテストを計画および管理。
- フロントおよびミドル オフィス、決済システム、参照データ、インフラストラクチャ、およびその他のIT 関連部署との連携
- 変更管理、変更分析、フロントツーバックのテスト等、各種調整を支援。
- 開発リードはプロジェクト管理手法を適用し、スケジュールに従ってプロジェクトを確実に実行できるようにマイルストーンの決定とマネジメントへ報告。
- 開発リードは最新のプログラミング技術をフルに活用し、コード レビューを実施し、ゲートキーパーとして開発メンバーを指導。
- 継続的な改善を推奨し、貢献を目的として、範囲内のアプリケーションのGUIと機能仕様の継続的な分析を積極的にサポート。
- アジャイルおよび DevOps 方法論を利用した開発/Agileコーチとして、チームメンバーに対して指導。
- Management of new and mid-stage application development of both client and web based applications for global implementation, driven from Tokyo. Solutions are all centered on total in-house development methodology.
- Interfacing with stakeholders business requirements and documenting them on a timely basis.
- Design and develop system architecture as a developer in an Agile development team.
- Constructing and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline
- Plan and manage testing of system implementations by acting as accountable owner for managing test cases and representing the team for test cycle reviews such as for SIT/E2E/UAT.
- Collaboration with partner technology departments such as front and middle office, settlement systems, reference data, infrastructure, and other core IT counterparties.
- Support change management, change analysis, and front to back coordination.
- As a development lead, apply project management duties to ensure project delivery as per program schedules; determining and reporting delivery milestones
- Full hands on coding abilities and act as gatekeeper in code reviews.
- Proactively support ongoing analysis of graphical user interfaces and functional specifications for in-scope applications with the objective to recommend and contribute to ongoing improvements.
- Act as lead/trainer for Agile and DevOps methodologies to other colleagues in technology and beyond.

ー 日本語ネイティブレベル、且つ英語ビジネスレベルを習得する意思がある（現在、TOEIC600以上を保有している）。
ー 英語ネイティブレベル、且つ日本語ビジネスレベルを習得する意思がある（現在、JLPT N3以上を保有している）。
・Linuxでの汎用プログラミング言語の 3年以上の経験。
・Java オープン ソース アプリケーション フレームワーク (Spring フレームワークなど) に関する理解と開発経験。
・DevOps およびアジャイル開発方法論の応用経験と深い理解、および GIT、Jenkins、SonarQubeなどのさまざまなコア ツールにわたる確立された知識。
・データベース・ストアドプロシージャの設計と管理の知識と利用経験。
・技術者と技術者以外の両方に対する高いコミュニケーション能力。
・生成AIの活用やクラウドネイティブ技術など、新しいテクノロジーを積極的かつ継続的に学習できる方。
・Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
ー Native-level Japanese proficiency, with a willingness to acquire business-level English proficiency (currently holding a TOEIC score of 600 or above), or
ー Native-level English proficiency, with a willingness to acquire business-level Japanese proficiency (currently holding JLPT N3 or above)
・Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general purpose programming languages in Linux.
・Strong understanding of the Java Open Source Application Framework (like Spring framework).
・Solid experience and understanding of DevOps and Agile development methodology, with established expertise across range of core tools like GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
・Ability in database/stored procedure design and management.
・Strong oral and written communications to both technical and non-technical audiences
・A strong motivation to proactively and continuously learn new technologies, such as generative AI and cloud-native technologies | | ＜Preferred／歓迎するスキル・経験＞ | - 株式、債券、デリバティブなどの商品の取引ライフサイクルを理解し、証券取引環境での実践的な開発における 3 年以上の業界経験。
- Docker, Kubernetes などのクラウドネイティブな技術の理解または経験。

- More than 3 years of industry experience in hands-on development within the securities trading environment with solid understanding of the trade lifecycle for products such as equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
- Understanding or experience in cloud native technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in development utilizing generative AI.
