Job Description | Job/Group Overview：
Group Software Engineering, part of Group Platform Services and Engineering, is responsible for Nomura Holdings wide implementation across the SDLC Toolchain, Curated Enterprise Pipelines, and Core Application tools.
The team covers CI/CD, containerization, static security scanning, code review, code repositories, and application deployment. Spans across the globe, the team works with various other Wholesale, Retail and affiliate Engineering and Platform teams.
This position is based in Japan and part of the Group Platform Service and Engineering - Software Engineering team and within the existing Engineering and Site Reliability Engineers. Within the team we will have, Software Developers, and Site Reliability Engineers, and a thin layer of Operations, forming a true DevOps team.
The overall strategy is critical to group wide capability enhancements and is an opportunity to apply and learn industry leading technologies, practices in a collaborative, diverse environment.

同チームは、CI/CD、コンテナ化、静的セキュリティスキャン、コードレビュー、コードリポジトリ、アプリケーションデプロイメントプラットフォームを担当しています。このグローバルチームは、他のホールセール、リテール、および関連会社のエンジニアリングチームならびにプラットフォームチームと連携しています。
本ポジションは日本を拠点とし、グループ・プラットフォーム・サービス＆エンジニアリングのソフトウェアエンジニアリングチームの一員として、既存のエンジニアリング及びSREチームと連携します。チームには、ソフトウェア開発者、SRE者、そして最小限の運用担当を配置し、真のDevOpsチームを構成します。

- Develop and maintain systems using a range of programming languages and tools across multiple platforms, with a primary focus on UI/UX environments and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions effectively and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Requirements | Requirements：
| | ＜Mandatory＞ | - Proficiency in working with various programming languages and tools, including frontend technologies such as ReactJS, HTML, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Experience with scripting in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience with automation, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Proven experience in collaborating across regions and teams.
- Japanese native or fluent with strong presentation and communication skills with basic level of English communication.
- ReactJS、HTML、TypeScript、CSSなどのフロントエンド技術を含む、さまざまなプログラミング言語およびツールの使用経験。
- LinuxおよびWindows環境でのスクリプト作成経験。
- Jenkins、Ansible、Terraform等の自動化、CI/CD、Infrastructure as Code（IaC）ツールの使用経験。
- 複数の地域やチームをまたいで連携した実績。
- 日本語が母語または流暢であり、優れたプレゼンテーション力及びコミュニケーション力を有し、基本的な英語でのコミュニケーションを取れること。
| | ＜Preferred＞ | - Experience using industry-standard prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- 5+ years of experience in software development and/or support.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining systems using cloud and container technologies.
- Practical experience with enterprise change and incident management processes, such as ITIL or similar frameworks.
- Figma、Sketch、Adobe XDなど、業界標準のプロトタイピングツールの使用経験。
- ソフトウェア開発とサポートの実務経験5年以上。
- クラウド及びコンテナ技術を用いたシステムの設計、開発と管理する経験。
- ITILまたは同等のフレームワークに基づく、エンタープライズ向けの変更管理およびインシデント管理プロセスの実務経験。
