We are seeking a front office developer to join the Equity Technology team. The role involves working closely with front office users as well as other technology teams to deliver and support front office solutions.
The successful candidate will be passionate about technology, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be a proactive team player with a strong drive for success. The role requires the ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
It would be advantageous to have experience developing front office trading systems and a solid understanding of the Equities Delta1 business, including the equity product lifecycle, trade booking, risk, and P&L calculations. | | | | Responsibilities： | - Engage with the business to understand new initiatives, ideas, and issues
- Develop new features in C# or Java in a distributed environment
- Transition existing desktop applications to a web-based stack
- Support and maintain existing Equities Delta1 tools
- Work with modern productivity tools and AI-assisted development approaches, including prompt engineering, to improve development efficiency and solution quality

Requirements | | Requirements： | | ＜Mandatory Requirements＞ | - Numerate degree holder or above
- Experience building distributed systems using C# or Java
- Experience building web-based applications using Blazor or React
- Strong communication skills, team player, and fast learner
- Interest in financial markets and the Equities Delta1 business
- Practitioner of Agile development and DevOps principles
| | ＜Optional Requirements＞ | - Experience using AI tools in software development, such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, for prompt engineering, code generation, and productivity enhancement
- Web technology experience migrating desktop applications to web stack using modern frameworks such as JavaScript, Blazor, React or HTMX
- Application development experience in real-time, multi-threaded OO programming
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Python scripting, including pandas/numpy and backtesting
- KDB+: Big Data querying, functional programming in Q, system maintenance
- Messaging & MktData API: Solace / Reuters / Bloomberg
