Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
Business Unit Overview:
The India Analytics Group ("IAG") provides support to the Investment Banking Division across our offices globally. IAG analysts work hand-in-hand with bankers based in the different regions on databases, comparables, financial modelling, pitch books and deal execution. Currently, IAG provides support to over 30 Industry and Product teams. IAG analysts have proved to be an integral part of their teams and provide them with significant leverage in day-to-day situations.

Role & Responsibilities:
| Job Description
§ IAG Analysts analyse financial and market data of companies and work on assignments such as creating company profiles, industry specific slides, company valuations, execution of debt and equity offerings and M&A
§ Assignments will involve detailed financial and/or market analyses, company and industry research and financial statement analyses.
§ Analysts will be expected to work very closely and in a coordinated manner with their colleagues in Japan specifically and other Nomura offices around the globe in general.

Key Skills:
- Ability to work well in multi-cultural teams as w ell as the willingness and capability to perform efficiently under time constraints are absolutely essential.
- Business or Finance major; accounting coursework is a significant advantage.
- Strong desire to excel, high degree of motivation and willing to take leadership and responsibility for projects.
- Strong quantitative skills and an ability to produce consistently high-quality, accurate work.
