Nomura is seeking a Regional Team Lead to oversee Identity Operations for the Asia region, based in Tokyo, Japan, with Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (Japanese preferred).
The applicant should have 7+ years’ experience in a team leadership role in Technology.
Reporting into the global manager for Identity Operations based in London, this role will manage day-to-day operations for the Asia region and ensure consistent and reliable delivery of identity services across the region. The successful candidate will combine technical knowledge with collaborative leadership skills to ensure operational excellence.
We are looking for someone with strong operational discipline, and experience leading operational teams.
The ideal candidate should also have experience in either Active Directory or ForgeRock Directory Services (Ping Identity) or any Related Technical Operational role.

- Oversee daily operations of identity management systems and processes
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistent service delivery and best practices
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
- Manage incident response and escalation procedures for identity-related issues
- Ensure process improvements and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present operational reports and metrics to senior management
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed

- 運用レポートおよび各種指標を作成し、シニアマネジメントへ報告・説明する
- 当番制のオンコール対応に参加し、必要に応じて時間外サポートを提供する

登録資格
Requirements | | Required Skills (Essential)／必須スキル： | - 7+ years in a team leadership role in technology
- Experience with at least one of the following technologies:Active Directory, ForgeRock, Ping, or related Identity technologies
- Proven ability to manage and develop technical staff
- Experience with performance management and team development
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (Japanese preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Experience with either AD, LDAP, authentication protocols, and directory services and other Identity related systems or disciplines
- Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows OS support, such as application installation, performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Experience with Directory Services for deploying distributed LDAP service with global replication across multiple regions.
- Familiarity with LDAP tools like ldapsearch, ldapadd commands and Apache Directory Studio and equivalent PowerShell tooling
- Familiarity with network technologies such as Networking and Load balancing concepts, SSO concepts, Apache, Tomcat, Perl, Ansible
- Ability to perform connectivity troubleshooting (tcpdump, wireshark, telnet, traceroute, nc etc.)
- PowerShell or Python skills
- Site Reliability Engineering & automation best practices
