Nomura is seeking a Senior Cryptography and Encryption Operations Specialist for the Asia region, based in Tokyo, Japan, with Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (Japanese preferred).
The applicant should have 5+ years’ experience in an operational role in Technology and at least 3+ years’ experience in a role supporting cryptographic and data-protection platforms including Key Management Services, Public Key Infrastructure and HSM’s.
Reporting into the global manager for Identity and Access Management Operations based in London, this is a hands-on role providing day-to-day support for the Asia region and ensure consistent and reliable delivery of directory services across the region.
We are looking for someone with strong operational discipline, and experience with Public Key Infrastructure, Key Management Services, and HSM’s.

私たちは、強い運用規律を持ち、公開鍵基盤（PKI）、鍵マネジメントサービス（KMS）、およびHSMの経験を有する方を求めています。 | | | | Responsibilities／職務内容： | - Provide technical operational support for cryptographic and data-protection platforms including Key Management Services, Public Key Infrastructure and HSMs.
- Work with engineering to support the delivery of new services and platform improvements to existing platforms to enhance resilience, automation, and operational efficiency.
- In an L2/L3 capacity, operate, maintain and resolve operational issues with Nomura’s Key Management and Public Key Infrastructure platforms including Key Management Services, HSMs and PKI components (CLMs, RAs, VAs, CAs, etc) through a follow-the-sun model.
- Support day-to-day operational ceremonies required for Key Management and PKI, such as high-assurance key-signing ceremonies, key lifecycle and inventory management.
- Support teams deploying key management and public key infrastructure to enable data protection and Identity needs in-line with solutions developed by engineering.
- Maintain high-quality operational documentation, runbooks, and incident response procedures.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed

- エンジニアリング部門が開発したソリューションに基づき、データ保護およびアイデンティティ関連要件を実現するため、鍵管理および公開鍵基盤の導入を行うチームを支援する。
- 高品質な運用ドキュメント、ランブック、インシデント対応手順を維持・整備する。
- 社内および社外監査に対応する。
- 当番制のオンコールに参加し、必要に応じて時間外対応を行う。

Requirements | | Required Skills (Essential)／必須スキル： | - Minimum 3 years’ experience operating Public Key Infrastructure, Key Management Services, and HSM’s in a financial-services or other high-security environment.
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (Japanese preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
