Job Description | Job/Group Overview：
Senior Developer in Sales Technology under Client Services Technology. You will cover both equities/fixed income sales community as well as corporate access department. Admitted candidate will be reporting into Ashrapov Sanjar. | | | Responsibilities：
Communicate with stakeholders across Global Syndicate, Corporate Access, Sales, and Research, and manage expectations regarding platforms provided by the CST Sales Marketing team.
Gather and document business requirements from relevant groups across Nomura. Develop subject-matter expertise in assigned platforms, conduct fit-gap and As-Is/To-Be analyses, and propose solutions supported by clear delivery plans.
Work closely with global development teams, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology to ensure that solutions meet business needs and technical standards.
Provide second- and third-level support for production incidents and outages, including database analysis, source-code investigation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Coordinate resolution with relevant teams and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and integrations, ensuring that solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices, including coding standards, automated testing, version control, and continuous integration and delivery.
Provide technical estimates, identify dependencies and risks, and collaborate with project managers and other teams to deliver agreed scope within planned timelines.
Coordinate application releases in accordance with internal change-management procedures, including testing, deployment planning, rollback preparation, and post-release validation.
Monitor application health and performance, investigate recurring issues, and implement improvements to availability, resilience, and operational efficiency.
Lead or contribute to root-cause investigations following significant incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure that application development and maintenance align with applicable internal security, data-protection, compliance, and audit requirements. Work with control functions to address identified risks and remediation actions. | |

- Execution skill with experience in Agile SDLC models (mandatory)
- Effective presentation skill in English (mandatory)
- Effective presentation skill in Japanese (optional)
- Business background, 5-7 years’ experience in marketing space whichever from business or IT (optional)
- Knowledge of CRM, Event management system (optional)
- Proactive, good communication skills, able to work independently but work well in a team (optional)
