As a Staffing Advisor at Oliver Wyman, you will play an important role in coordinating the placement of consulting talent across the Asia Pacific region. Working closely with Consultants, Talent Managers, and leadership, you will help match the right people to the right projects, balancing both business priorities and individual career development. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in resource management, data analysis, and communication within a vibrant, diverse, and globally recognized consulting firm known for its collaborative culture and innovative approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Staffing
- Participate actively in team staffing calls; drive usage of staffing relevant tools, capture detailed notes, and follow up actions
- Ensure effective and efficient staffing of consultants to projects, carefully balancing firm priorities with individual preferences and developmental needs
- Coordinate workflow across the staffing team to maintain smooth operations
- Raise staffing escalations in a timely manner and support the Regional Head of Staffing and the ACG Talent Managers to identify solutions backed by accurate data
- Escalate staffing challenges promptly; partner with leadership and talent managers to propose data-driven solutions.
- Utilization Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor and manage consultant utilization across the Asia Pacific region proactively
- Collaborate closely with Talent Analytics and Data teams to develop and maintain staffing reports through Tableau.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in utilization data.
- Provide clear contextual insights to leadership on utilization trends and staffing initiatives.
- Support targeted initiatives by partnering regionally and globally across support functions
- Systems Expertise & Support
- Work with the Talent Management Central Team (TMC) to ensure accuracy of staffing systems, becoming a subject matter expert in Certinia
- Lead and advocate with staffing input in any system enhancements
- Additional Contributions
- Provide backup support for TMC and ACG Talent Managers as needed Support staffing related initiatives for the Asia Pacific leadership team
- Support Asia Pacific leadership with staffing-related initiatives and projects
What You Bring:
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in a fast-paced client services or consulting environment
- Prior Experience in Talent Management, or Human Resources (including working with a resource management system) preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and experience with data analysis and reporting
