Job Overview:
Oliver Wyman is seeking a Knowledge Manager based in Mexico to support our global Consumer, Telco & Technology (CTT) business. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to expand their experience while being part of a dynamic, fast-paced global knowledge management team within a prestigious consulting firm. This role will report directly to the CTT Knowledge Expert based in Madrid and involve substantial interaction with the global CTT Knowledge team. About Consumer, Telco & Technology (CTT):
CTT is a specialized practice within the Oliver Wyman consulting business. We serve consumer-facing businesses, such as retailers and consumer goods companies, as well as companies in the telecommunications, technology, media, and broader business services sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity to support a critical industry during a time of much change and opportunity. The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate knowledge codification and sharing across the global CTT practice and within Oliver Wyman to assist consultants and partners in delivering client engagements and securing new opportunities. The Knowledge Manager is part of a global CTT Knowledge Management team responsible for managing content and developing tools and processes that enhance the flow of knowledge within the firm.
Serve as a key resource for CTT Partners and Consultants to help them be commercially successful and impactful by providing them timely information and resources they need.
Identify, collect and curate valuable CTT intellectual capital (IC) for reuse as knowledge assets.
Maintain knowledge and file systems while developing databases and tools to store and share key insights for business development, account management, etc.
Support or potentially lead specific aspects of the CTT Knowledge Plan, including effectively managing senior stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Create, take ownership of, and/or maintain specific CTT knowledge products as directed by the Knowledge Expert.
Experience Required:
Educated to Degree level.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in knowledge management, research, business development, strategy consulting, or investment banking.
Experience in one or more sectors within the CTT industry (e.g., retail and distribution, consumer goods, telecom and media, technology, business services, leisure, and hospitality).
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in strategy or management consulting.
Research skills are advantageous.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Excel.
Strong skills in PowerPoint.
Familiarity with SharePoint or other file management tools.
Understanding of database management, data management, and data analysis principles.
Experience using generative AI tools and their applications.
