Oliver Wyman is now looking to recruit a FP&A Analyst to join our India office and be part of our IMEA (India Middle East Africa) team!

This role will be based out of our Gurugram office.

Job Overview:

This role is within our IMEA FP&A team, focused on supporting various stages of project lifecycle activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Setup and Operational Support

  • Facilitate project setup processes, ensuring accurate and timely input of project codes and validations in collaboration with Controllership team and Talent Management

  • Manage backlog (sold revenues), coordinating extensions and amendments to existing projects, ensuring all changes are properly documented and reflected in the system.

  • Update and maintain project attributes to ensure accurate allocation and reporting of project and partner economics

  • Create and manage non-billable codes as required, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external requirements.

  • Act as the primary point of contact with Controllership team for code validation and related operational queries including invoicing and expense true ups

  • Collaborate with Talent Management team and partner group to validate staffing. Simulating downstream implications on revenue recognition and communicating those to finance team for monthly forecasting.

  • Supporting team lead with Ad hoc queries in relation to project or partner economics

Skills and Attributes:

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in operational finance, project setup, or related roles, preferably within FP&A or professional services environments.

  • Highly organized with a strong ability to manage tasks within set deadlines particularly at month/quarter end. For eg, Collaboration with controllership to close out open issues at month end including code verifications and revenue adjustments

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (advanced level).

  • Experience with project management or professional services automation tools is a plus.

  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, Salesforce, or similar platforms is preferred but not essential.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
