Oliver Wyman is seeking a Recruiting Manager to join our Entry-Level / Early Careers Recruiting team in Munich - this is an 20 month maternity-cover contract, ideally to start in January 2026

Please Note: Oliver Wyman/MMC operates a hybrid working policy and we will require the successful candidate to work from the Munich office at least 60% of the time.

About the role:

Lead our early talent attraction across Germany & Austria and help shape the next generation of Oliver Wyman consultants!

You will be the primary recruiting contact for interns and entry level hires in Germany and Austria, building and delivering a market leading campus and early talent strategy.

Working closely with local Recruiting Partners, the European Head of Recruiting and senior stakeholders, you’ll own execution across recruitment marketing, university engagement, event planning and the end to end hiring process.

You’ll influence strategy through data, manage budgets, and ensure our values and Inclusion & Diversity priorities are embedded at every stage of the candidate experience.

Specifics of what you will be doing...

  • Leading the development and execution of a recruiting strategy for Germany and Austria, keeping senior stakeholders informed.

  • Driving the delivery of Oliver Wyman’s Inclusion & Diversity agenda for entry level hiring.

  • Adapting firm‑wide recruitment marketing and creating local campus materials, adverts and digital content.

  • Managing university relationships, planning campus activity, and coordinating consultant school teams and logistics.

  • Owning the end-to-end hiring process for interns and graduates: screening, interviews, offers, onboarding and reporting.

  • Building and monitoring recruiting metrics (efficiency, spend, resource needs) and maintaining our recruiting IT systems (Workday).

  • Developing and controlling the annual recruiting budget; processing invoices and ensuring cost effective execution.

  • Continually improving recruiting processes, tools and candidate experience using feedback and data.

  • Managing and developing the local recruiting team; sharing best practices across markets.

  • Leading special projects to improve recruiting processes, training or strategic initiatives

This role will suit someone with:

  • Around 5–6+ years of end-to-end graduate/early careers /early talent recruiting experience, ideally gained within the professional services or management consulting sectors

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German.

  • Experience of managing budgets, vendor coordination and campus marketing activities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases and willingness to use AI tools for efficiency

  • Experience with Workday or a similar ATS.

  • Prior experience of coordinating international or multi‑market recruiting events.

  • A background in consulting or knowledge of professional services recruiting

  • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
