About the Role:

As part of its continued evolution, Oliver Wyman is delivering a multi-year, firmwide transformation to embed advanced digital and technology-enabled capabilities into how the firm operates and delivers value. This enterprise-wide initiative spans product development, technology convergence, activation and change, communications, and regional execution across teams and geographies.

We are seeking a Build PMO Analyst to provide dedicated program management support to product and technology delivery efforts within this major firmwide transformation.

This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and program governance. You will help ensure that sprint-level execution, cross-team dependencies, and release readiness are visible, coordinated, and well-managed at the broader program level.

The role requires comfort operating in a fast-paced, iterative delivery environment, combined with strong structure, organization, and attention to detail.

In a typical week, you might synthesize sprint outcomes into a clear view of delivery health, surface emerging risks before they impact release timelines, or help align multiple product pods around shared dependencies. This role offers hands-on exposure to how digital products are built and scaled within an enterprise setting and provides the opportunity to develop strong judgment at the intersection of agile delivery and enterprise governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track sprint-level progress, milestones, and risks across multiple build pods and product initiatives, maintaining an up-to-date view of delivery healt

  • Identify and surface cross-pod and cross-team dependencies, escalating risks early and supporting mitigation planning before they impact delivery timelines

  • Translate agile delivery data (e.g., from Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools) into program-level reporting and actionable insights

  • Support release planning and readiness, coordinating inputs across product, engineering, testing, and activation teams to ensure alignment

  • Coordinate with regional or distributed build resources to align capacity, sequencing, and handoffs

  • Act as a bridge between delivery teams and the central PMO, ensuring updates are consistent, transparent, and decision-ready

Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in project or program support roles, ideally within technology, product, or agile delivery environments

  • Familiarity with agile ways of working and delivery tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms)

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple threads in parallel while maintaining a clear view of priorities

  • Experience working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • High attention to detail and comfort operating under tight timelines and shifting priorities

  • Foundational skills such as tool proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office, collaboration platforms), facilitation support, digital fluency, communication style, adaptability, and learning mindset are important baseline expectations at Oliver Wyman and will be assessed through interviews.

Skills & Attributes:

Below are four skills that are critical to success as a Build-Specific PMO Analyst in Oliver Wyman:

1. Ability to bring structure and pace to complex build initiatives

  • Experience supporting multi-workstream delivery efforts by translating plans into clear timelines, dependencies, and actions. Comfortable tracking progress across build teams, identifying risks early, and helping maintain delivery momentum in fast-moving environments

2. Strong analytical acumen and synthesis

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze delivery data, identify what matters most, and synthesize it into concise, fact-based insights. Able to prepare clear materials that support discussions, trade-offs, and decision-making

3. Effective stakeholder coordination

  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders across roles and levels of seniority, coordinating inputs, following up on actions, and resolving issues without direct line authority

4. Comfort operating in ambiguity while maintaining attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively when priorities shift or information is incomplete, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, documentation, and follow-through
