Job Overview:
The Knowledge Management team at Oliver Wyman is an integral business function, deeply embedded across the firm’s industries and capabilities to ensure we harness the best of our global expertise. Oliver Wyman is recruiting two Knowledge Analysts based in Mexico to support the Performance Transformation team in the Americas. These roles report directly to the Performance Transformation Knowledge Manager in Mexico.
Role Summary
This role supports the commercial success of Oliver Wyman by increasing the flow of knowledge across the Practice and the firm. You will help collect, codify, sanitize, curate, and share intellectual capital (IC) so Partners and Consultants can deliver engagements and win new opportunities more efficiently. You will work closely with the Performance Transformation Knowledge Management team, acting as a key support resource for project teams and contributing to the Knowledge plan through strong content curation, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1) Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Collaborate closely with the Performance Transformation Knowledge Management (PT KM) team members and contribute to smooth delivery of Practice KM priorities.
Support and collaborate with Consultant(s) acting as KM SPOCs within your scope, under the guidance of your manager.
Build excellent working relationships with key PT team members globally and foster connections with Researchers and Knowledge Managers across Oliver Wyman.
2) Knowledge Collection, Codification & Delivery
Implement the Knowledge Management delivery process within your scope.
Track, identify, collect, and curate valuable IC from projects to be reused as assets for future engagements.
Own IC collection and IC dissemination for projects in your scope; ensure codification in alignment with KM standards and under manager guidance.
Read and analyze project deliverables (especially PowerPoint decks), understand the strategic storyline and analytical findings, isolate the most valuable reusable content, and produce high-quality knowledge summaries.
Serve as a resource for project teams needing content insights within a defined set of sectors/topics.
Answer straightforward IC requests independently; escalate or deliver more complex requests with manager guidance.
3) Knowledge Systems, Tools & Asset Management
Maintain knowledge and file systems; ensure content is organized, searchable, and reusable.
Help develop and maintain databases/tools that store and share key insights for business development, account management, and delivery teams.
4) Continuous Improvement, Innovation & Product Development
Implement Knowledge Management continuous improvement initiatives under manager supervision; lead simple initiatives end-to-end where appropriate.
Contribute to the development and promotion of KM products, tools, processes, and ways of working that increase information flow and best-practice sharing.
Support Knowledge projects aligned with the Practice Knowledge plan and provide reliable delivery support to senior KM team members.
What Success Looks Like
Consultants and Partners receive timely, high-quality support and can easily access reusable assets.
Project IC is consistently captured, curated, and codified with strong summaries and metadata.
Knowledge repositories remain clean, current, and easy to navigate; new tools/processes measurably improve reuse.
Experience Required:
Educated to Degree level; graduates in English, Linguistics, or related language-focused disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply.
Approximately 2 years of experience in knowledge management, research, content development, or business development.
Prior experience in strategy or management consulting is a strong plus.
Skills & Attributes
Exceptional English proficiency (written and verbal) with strong analytical reading skills; able to quickly extract the “so what” from complex presentations and documents.
Excellent writing, editing and synthesis: produces crisp summaries and reusable knowledge assets.
High attention to detail and quality standards (codification/sanitization, naming, structure).
Strong stakeholder management skills: confident working with Partners/Consultants and coordinating across teams.
Organized, proactive, continuous-improvement mindset; comfortable running small initiatives.
Comfortable with knowledge repositories and document management tools; strong PowerPoint literacy (reading/editing).
Prior experience applying Gen AI in day-to-day workflows and designing effective prompts is a plus.
