OW Vector, a local Aviation Management Consulting company, is looking for experienced Technical Specialist. This role is part of a large team committed to auditing aircraft maintenance records for delivery of highest quality products to our clients. Successful candidates will demonstrate an eagerness to learn, willingness to take initiative as well as be a champion for accuracy.
Skills & Experience:
- 7 - 10 years of prior work-related experience in aircraft records or aircraft technical representative
- Comprehensive understanding of Federal (or National Authority) regulations concerning aircraft, engine and appliance continued airworthiness, configuration control, and pertinent client manuals.
- At least four (4) year experience performing aspects of the roles and responsibilities defined under Qualifications with a Part 121 carrier
- Must possess strong analytical and high attention to detail skills while manipulating or managing large volumes of data
- Proficient in database management and auditing
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office -Excel, spreadsheet applications, Outlook, Word
- Ability to work well in a team environment. Must be able to interface professionally, credibly and objectively with colleagues and clients
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service oriented with ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing work environment
- Function effectively under strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and composure.
- Ability to handle multiple duties and priorities daily
- Maintain client confidentiality
- General knowledge of Google Drive
- Ability to work with physical and digital records
Responsibilities:
- Oversee more junior team members design and execution of analysis
- Interpret, audit, and verify Airworthiness Directives and method of compliance
- Determine applicability of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins
- Verify time since new and time used on Life Limited Parts and Hard Time Components on engines, landing gears, and Airframe
- Perform back to birth trace for life limited components installed on Airframe, Engines, and Landing Gears
- Verify aircraft documentation for proper sign off, parts certificates, NDT records, vendor approvals
- Research and resolve records issues, elevate to appropriate work groups if necessary
- Analyze and review minor and major repair records verifying installation and compliance
- Understanding of Supplemental Type Certificates (STC’s) for installation and compliance
- Leverage deep knowledge of technical aspects and usage of relevant computer models and databases to provide solutions for client
- Work with client-based maintenance tracking systems (i.e. Wizard, Merlin, Trax, Maintenix, AMOS) for research, update, and input as necessary
- Aircraft Technical Representatives must have prior aircraft maintenance experience and quality background.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Airframe and Powerplant License (Required for Aircraft Technical Representative)
Location: Fort Worth, TX, Atlanta, GA, Mexico City, Mexico
Travel: up to 50%- Nationally and internationally, as required to support clients

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
