Oliver Wyman is seeking a seasoned AI Transformation Manager to join our Mumbai or Gurugram office and be part of our IMEA (India Middle East Africa) region.
Job Overview:
Oliver Wyman is seeking an AI Transformation Manager to lead the adoption, integration, and scaling of AI capabilities across consulting teams and support functions in the IMEA region.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and innovation, acting as a bridge between business needs and AI solutions. The successful candidate will drive productivity improvements by embedding AI tools (e.g., LenAI, ChatGPT, Claude, Agentic solutions, etc.) into day-to-day workflows while shaping the region’s AI transformation agenda.
This is a high-impact role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and a deep passion for emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Transformation and Adoption: Support the OW’s AI transformation by enabling the integration of AI tools into consulting and support teams' workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Strategy & Governance: partner with the IMEA AI SteerCo to define and execute the AI adoption strategy for the region, setting priorities from awareness campaigns to use case delivery and technology integration. Establish governance mechanisms for prioritization, delivery tracking and value realization.
Capability building and training: Collaborate with L&D to help design and deliver tailored AI training programs, workshops, boot camps and learning modules to upskill colleagues at all levels (Consultants, Support Professionals, Partners, Specialists). Promote awareness of AI capabilities and use cases across the firm.
Develop, Curate and disseminate AI use cases developed across the region and firm-wide as per relevance, to facilitate cross-team adoption and maximize impact.
Stakeholder engagement and change management: Lead and coordinate AI SWAT teams at multiple levels across the IMEA region (project, CIT, Practice, SP functions), ensuring alignment, communication, and sharing of progress, challenges, and successes. Empower teams to escalate AI needs and share innovations. Act as a trusted advisor to Regional and QI leadership and partners on AI-enabled transformation opportunities and challenges. Facilitate Boot camps, workshops and strategy sessions to incorporate AI into broader firm initiatives.
Solution development: Partner with the Quotient Inside team and Technology function to develop AI solutions (Assistants, tools, automated agents, platforms) that meet user needs and address operational challenges. Build or prototype AI assistants or agentic solutions and workflows where appropriate. Facilitate smooth collaboration between business and QI and technical teams.
Performance tracking & impact measurement: Develop and implement robust change management frameworks for AI adoption. Drive communication plans to ensure stakeholder engagement, feedback loops, and sustained usage of AI initiatives.
Define KPIs and success metrics for AI adoption, productivity improvements, and user satisfaction. Regularly report on progress and impact to regional leadership and SteerCo.
Responsible AI & Risk Management: Ensure responsible AI adoption by monitoring risks, ethical considerations, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Promote best practices related to data privacy and AI ethics.
Stay abreast of global AI trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Recommend continuous improvements to AI tools, processes, and training to maintain competitive advantage.
Experience and Skills Required:
5 to 8 years of experience in Management Consulting, transformation or digital roles
Strong AI literacy with hands-on familiarity with LLMs, copilots, automation, and agentic solutions
Ability to translate business needs into practical AI-enabled solutions, with a wider understanding of the process and workflow impact
Deep understanding of operational processes and process reengineering
Excellent problem-solving and structured thinking capabilities
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including senior leadership (Partners/COO level)
Proven ability to drive change and adoption in complex, matrixed organizations
Execution-oriented mindset with ability to take initiatives from concept to scale
Passion for emerging technologies and continuous learning
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex AI concepts or other tech solutions
Collaborative and able to work across business and technical teams
Experience or interest in building/prototyping AI tools, assistants, or workflows
High degree of ownership, proactiveness, and entrepreneurial mindset
Strong time management and prioritization skills across multiple initiatives
Commitment to ethical and responsible use of AI technologies
