Oliver Wyman is now looking to recruit an Business Impact Manager for Consumer, Telco and Technology (CTT) and Transportation & Advanced Industrials, to join our Middle East office and be part of our IMEA (India Middle East Africa) team!
The role will be based out of Dubai office.
Business Impact Team Overview:
The Business Impact Team (BIT) serves as a strategic cornerstone of our organization, bridging the gap between consulting operations and essential support functions. Led by the Chief of Staff and Director of Business Impact Team, we orchestrate the region's strategic direction and operational governance.
Our scope of work is very broad and strategic. Collaborating closely with the Region Head, we design and implement strategic initiatives that align with our growth ambitions. We facilitate high-level management and governance meetings to drive actionable outcomes. We ensure effective operations of markets and practices, ensuring compliance with market-specific regulations and efficient management of large-scale practices/markets. Additionally, we lead the business development function, covering both the administrative aspects of RFP operations and the strategic elements of market positioning and client outreach. Through these efforts, the Business Impact Team empowers the organization to achieve its strategic objectives while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Job Overview:
The Business Impact Manager for Consumer, Telco and Technology (CTT) and Transportation & Advanced Industrials (TAI) will serve as the strategic and operational right hand to the two IMEA Practice Heads (CTT and TAI). This role sits at the centre of practice leadership, helping turn priorities into action across business planning and performance management, governance, and day-to-day practice operations.
The role requires balancing support across both practices and working closely with practice leadership and regional support teams. On a day-to-day basis, the Business Impact Manager will help drive priorities forward, prepare leadership decisions, coordinate key processes, track follow-through, and ensure the practices run effectively. This is a high-impact role for someone who can operate as both a thought partner and an execution lead to two senior practice leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Strategy and management
Partner with the CTT and TAI Practice Heads to shape internal practice strategy and drive execution of strategic priorities across both practices.
Collate and monitor account plans for key clients and platforms across the practices.
Analyze pipeline performance, wins/losses, and business trends to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
Prepare leadership updates, communications, and decision-support materials for key practice priorities.
Process practice data, run analysis and prepare meaningful outputs/recommendations for the leadership
Support Practice Head(s) on specific practice initiatives, market perspectives, client campaigns and other ad-hoc.
Practice Governance
Run the day-to-day operating rhythm of the practices, including key meetings, agendas, materials, action tracking, and follow-up.
Act as the central coordination point for practice-related topics, ensuring smooth execution across leadership, partners, and support teams.
Support the rollout and consistent execution of regional and global processes, KPIs, and governance requirements.
Coordinate practice-building initiatives, assigning owners and tracking progress to strengthen practice infrastructure.
People and Talent support
Work with Practice Heads and Talent Management on staffing, affiliations, performance appraisal activities, pyramid health, and capacity planning across both practices.
Assess the right size of pyramid and allocate / re-allocate affiliated staff as per client needs
Consolidate and facilitate needs (in the form of investment or capacity) for account growth
Support other people-related initiatives, for example learning & development and practice events, to strengthen collaboration and engagement.
Cross- practice and regional support
Serve as a bridge between the practices and key support functions, including Talent Management, Finance, Marketing, Communications, and Events.
Represent CTT and TAI within the IMEA Business Impact Team and contribute to broader regional priorities and special projects.
Surface cross-practice issues and ensure timely follow-up on key business topics and decisions.
Education Requirements:
Qualified and licensed to practice law, preferably in a common law jurisdiction relevant to the IMEA region.
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required; an advanced law degree (LLM or equivalent) is required.
Professional certifications or continuous legal education in relevant areas such as compliance, employment, data privacy, or corporate law are desirable.
Experience and Skills required:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience: 4-5 years in management consulting or similar strategic role

Advanced proficiency in data analysis, Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant tools (incl. AI).
