About the Role:

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Senior Knowledge Manager / Knowledge Management Lead to shape and scale Knowledge Management for our Consumer, Technology and Telecoms (CTT) industry platform.

Reporting to the Global Industry Head, this is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role at the center of a growing global practice. You will define and drive the knowledge agenda for CTT—ensuring that our intellectual capital is effectively captured, curated, and mobilized to support commercial success, distinctive client impact, and stronger connectivity across teams and regions.

A critical dimension of the role will be to embed AI-enabled ways of working into Knowledge Management and across the broader CTT practice. You will play a leading role in identifying, deploying, and scaling AI-driven solutions that enhance how knowledge is created, accessed, and used—driving step-change improvements in efficiency, insight generation, and reuse.

This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a knowledge capability, and success in this role will require a leader who can establish structure, foster a strong collaborative culture, and elevate both the team’s performance and the broader KM maturity of the practice.

You will operate as both a strategist and a hands-on leader—partnering closely with senior stakeholders while coaching and developing a growing team.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a high-performing global Knowledge Management CTT team, fostering collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement while mentoring team members and driving delivery excellence.

  • Defining and executing the Knowledge Management and AI-enabled knowledge strategy, embedding AI, automation, and advanced analytics into knowledge workflows to enhance efficiency, accessibility, and business impact.

  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to shape the knowledge agenda, influence adoption of new tools and ways of working, and position knowledge and AI solutions as key enablers of client delivery and growth.

  • Overseeing the creation, governance, and activation of intellectual capital, ensuring high-quality content, methodologies, credentials, and expertise are captured, curated, accessible, and actively leveraged across the organisation.

  • Building KM and AI capabilities across the practice, driving knowledge-sharing, training, change management, and continuous improvement to strengthen consulting effectiveness and support responsible AI adoption.

Who we are looking for:

  • Significant experience in strategy consulting or professional services.

  • Experience in Knowledge Management, research, or business development is expected – any exposure to the Consumer, Technology and Telecoms sectors is also highly advantageous

  • Strong Knowledge Management skills and a clear understanding of how intellectual capital is created, structured, and leveraged in consulting environments

  • Demonstrated experience or strong exposure to AI, automation, or digital tools applied to consulting, knowledge, research, or content workflows

  • A proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders in a global, matrixed organization

  • Experience leading or developing teams, with a strong focus on coaching and capability building

  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, particularly in evolving environments

  • Strong problem-solving and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong project management and prioritization capabilities

  • Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
