Oliver Wyman is seeking an experienced Human Capital Manager (HR Manager) to lead our people agenda across the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark. Based in our Amsterdam office, this is a highly visible role where you'll partner closely with senior leaders, influence business decisions, and help create an environment where both our people and business can thrive.

Please Note: Oliver Wyman/Marsh operates a hybrid working policy of at least 60% in-office attendance

The Opportunity

As Human Capital Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across the region, providing strategic and practical guidance on employee relations, performance, organisational challenges, and workforce matters.

You'll lead a local Human Capital Operations team while ensuring a seamless employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.

This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Partner directly with senior business leaders across multiple countries

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Human Capital team

  • Navigate complex employee relations and organisational challenges

  • Drive people initiatives that support business growth and employee engagement

  • Influence the employee experience across a leading global consulting firm

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary Human Capital partner for leaders and managers across the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, employment law, and workplace matters

  • Lead and develop a regional Human Capital Operations team

  • Ensure effective delivery of core HR operations, including payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes

  • Support the implementation of people initiatives, programmes, and organisational change

  • Partner with colleagues across Talent Management, Learning & Development, Inclusion & Culture, and other Human Capital functions to deliver a consistent employee experience

Who We're Looking For

  • You’ll have 8+ years of progressive HR/Human Capital experience - experience of supporting the people agenda across multiple countries will be essential

  • Experience gained from within a consulting, professional services, or other knowledge-based organisation is preferred

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices is expected

  • Strong employee relations expertise, including managing complex and sensitive cases, is required

  • Experience of leading HR teams within a fast-paced and commercially focused environment

  • Demonstrable ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders

  • Fluent English language skills are essential - Dutch or Swedish language skills are also highly advantageous
