Oliver Wyman is looking for a Recruiter to join our Experienced Hire Recruitment team in Newcastle, specialising in recruiting Data & Analytics professionals into our Newcastle and global offices.
Please Note: Oliver Wyman/Marsh operates a hybrid working policy of at least 60% in-office attendance
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, as Recruiter you will be coordinating the day-to-day operations of recruiting of Data and Analytics profiles globally, ensuring that hiring goals are achieved while addressing the logistical, geographical and branding issues of recruiting experienced consultants with a focus on building a diverse candidate pool.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Sourcing candidates for the Data and Analytics team using a variety of channels including direct applications, employee referral programmes, direct sourcing efforts, job board postings and contingent search firms
Setting and managing expectations with regard to recruitment targets and timelines
Defining required skill set and screening criteria for open positions with the individual Practice Group and the respective geography, ensure consistency in standards and quality
Reviewing and processing CVs according to the defined criteria and coordinating screening
Providing regular updates on the candidate pipeline to the responsible Partner in the Practice Group and Head of Recruiting Management
Scheduling interviews for all interviewing rounds, communicating with those relevant to the process.
Coordinating feedback and offer process, ensuring evaluation and hiring guidelines are followed.
Obtaining necessary approvals and producing contract and offer letter documents using Oliver Wyman formatting styles.
Providing insight and managing local operational/contractual nuances for different geographies
Coordinating and assisting in the new hire process and on-boarding procedures, including managing start dates
Liaising with HC Services team to ensure files are complete, sign-on bonuses are paid, visa issues are identified, etc.
Working with Talent Management, Training and Operations teams to ensure successful integration of new staff
Maintaining/updating recruiting IT system (Workday)and required databases to ensure accuracy of information for firm use
Assisting with other areas of recruitment projects as required.
Who We're Looking For
You’ll have full end to end recruiting life cycle experience – 4-6 years of experience either working internally as a recruiter, or within a recruitment agency or head-hunting firm
Experience within a professional services or management consulting firm is preferred – we will also consider agency recruiters who have recruited into professional services or management consulting firms
Direct sourcing experience and a successful track record of creating diverse pipelines is essential
Your technical skills will be:
Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is essential – Workday is advantageous
Strong MS Office skills are essential – Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required
Familiarity and competence in using AI to support recruiting processes
