Oliver Wyman is looking to bring onboard an experienced professional as a Talent Management Coordinator (Staffing/ Resource Management) to join our IMEA & APR Talent Management Team!

This role will be based out of our Gurugram office.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive, people-oriented Talent Management Coordinator to join our Specialists Talent Management team in India. This role is ideal for an individual with minimum 1-2 years of experience in Staffing, Resource Management, Workforce Planning, or Talent Management within a consulting or professional services environment.

As a Talent Management Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day staffing and career management of a portfolio of specialists across the IMEA and APR regions. You will partner closely with Partners, Practice Leaders, and regional Talent Management colleagues to balance business priorities with individual career aspirations, ensuring our specialists are staffed effectively while receiving an exceptional employee experience. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior consulting leaders, gain exposure to regional workforce planning, and contribute to key talent initiatives within one of the world's leading management consulting firms.

Key Responsibilities:

Staffing & Resource Management

  • Coordinate staffing decisions for a portfolio of specialists by balancing project requirements, business priorities, utilization, development objectives, and individual preferences

  • Partner with Partners, Practice Talent Management Leads, and regional Talent Management teams to understand project requirements and identify optimal staffing solutions

  • Monitor specialist utilization and proactively identify opportunities to optimize capacity and minimize unassigned time

  • Coordinate staffing discussions across multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and effective project allocations

  • Maintain staffing trackers, resource planning databases, and reporting to ensure accurate and up-to-date staffing information

  • Coordinate leave planning and training attendance while balancing project delivery requirements

  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to anticipate upcoming staffing needs and support workforce planning activities

Talent Management & Career Development

  • Coordinate onboarding and integration activities for new hires and interns, ensuring a seamless employee experience

  • Build trusted relationships with specialists through regular check-ins to understand their strengths, career aspirations, development goals, and staffing preferences

  • Proactively gather informal performance and developmental feedback at project completion and periodically for longer engagements to support future staffing and career development decisions

  • Support the execution of Mid-Year and Year-End performance review processes in partnership with the Specialist Talent Management team

  • Identify learning and development needs and coordinate training opportunities with the Learning & Development team

  • Support the delivery of Oliver Wyman's talent management, career development, and engagement initiatives

  • Maintain accurate records of specialists' skills, project experience, certifications, training, and career development activities

  • Monitor specialist engagement and office morale in collaboration with office leadership

Talent Operations & Data Management

  • Own the accuracy and integrity of specialist talent data, including staffing status, utilization, skills, project experience, training records, and development information

  • Produce staffing, utilization, and talent reports to support business planning and leadership decision-making

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Staffing, Resource Management, Workforce Planning, or Talent Management Operations within a consulting or professional services environment

  • Experience coordinating staffing or workforce planning across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, client-centric environment

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight timelines, and adapt to changing business needs

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret staffing and utilization data to support decision-making

Technical Skills:

  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
