Oliver Wyman is looking for a seasoned professional as a Global Mobility Specialist to join our IMEA (India, Middle East & Africa) Mobility & Security team!

This role will be based in our Riyadh office.

Job Overview:

The Global Mobility Specialist – IMEA supports the Global Mobility Manager – IMEA in delivering compliant, timely and employee focused Global Mobility services, primarily across Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain, with additional support across other GCC countries as required.

The role is responsible for coordinating immigration and mobility activities, maintaining accurate records and supporting employees throughout relevant processes. It also provides related administrative support, including the preparation and issuance of employee letters and documentation.

Working closely with HC Operations, Recruiting, Talent Management, business stakeholders and external service providers, the Global Mobility Specialist contributes to efficient and consistent employee experience while ensuring local requirements and Oliver Wyman policies are appropriately followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day Global Mobility and immigration activities across Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain, with support for other GCC countries as required.

  • Advise and support employees, candidates, Talent Management, project teams and other key stakeholders on immigration requirements for cross-border project staffing, business travel, onboarding and international transfers, coordinating required approvals and documentation.

  • Manage immigration cases from initiation through completion, including residence permits, Iqamas/QIDs, work authorization, business visas, renewals, transfers and cancellations, providing clear guidance on requirements, documentation, fees and timelines.

  • Support in-country processes, including medical examinations, biometrics and business visa health insurance, as well as relocation processes and applicable benefits, coordinating with HC Operations and relevant external vendors as required.

  • Monitor immigration regulations, restrictions and process changes, assess their impact/risk on employees and project staffing as well as the OW organization, and ensure relevant stakeholders, guidance and Oliver Wyman internal communication templates/sites are updated accordingly.

  • Prepare and issue immigration, mobility and employee documentation, including required letters and certificates, and provide related administrative support to the Global Mobility Manager and HC team, including document coordination, tracking, filing and attestation.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential immigration and relocation records, databases and trackers, monitor visa, residence and work permit expiry dates, and proactively coordinate renewals and required follow-up actions.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, cross regional Global Mobility colleagues, immigration providers, government relations representatives and other service providers to resolve cases and ensure effective service delivery.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, or 3–4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Global Mobility, Immigration, HC Operations or a related field, with GCC immigration experience, particularly in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain, preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in Arabic and English, written and spoken, is required.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with HC, Global Mobility or case-management systems is advantageous.
