The Omnicom Shared Service Center provides finance and accounting services agencies within OMC. We’re in search of a dynamic and adaptable Senior Accountant II able to prepare, review and analyze financial statements and meet aggressive reporting requirements for multiple agencies. Reporting to the Finance Director, our ideal candidate will enjoy working directly with the Agency & offshore teams as well as the internal staff within the Shared Service Center.

What you’ll do:

• Mentor the Senior I Accountants

• Coordinate offshore team activities and work product

• Primary contact with Agency Finance teams

• Approve journal entries with appropriate backup

• Review & submit final P&L and Balance Sheet to Agency for approval

• Promote Agency approved Revenue Flash, P&L and B/S in Hyperion Financial Management tool

• Maintain Agency scoreboard with current close status

• Review Hyperion Financial Management walk to Microsoft Dynamics AX trial balance to ensure there are no topside entries

• Review and approve B/S reconciliation package

• Promote all working capital schedules in Hyperion Financial Management tool

• Promote Internal Reporting Package schedules in Hyperion Financial Management tool

• Manage multiple agencies during close

• Complete various report for the annual tax package

• Other duties as needed

What you've done:

• Confidently engaged with leadership, clients, and internal teams

• Exhibit strong leadership skills-ability to teach and mentor in previous roles

• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in multiple entity environment

• Obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Worked with Microsoft Dynamics AX, Hyperion Financial Management, or equivalent

• Developed a high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
