The Omnicom Shared Service Center provides finance and accounting services agencies within OMC. We’re in search of a dynamic and adaptable Senior Accountant I able to prepare & review financial statements and meet aggressive reporting requirements for multiple agencies. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, our ideal candidate will enjoy working directly with the Agency & offshore team as well as the internal staff within the Shared Service Center.

What you’ll do:

• Review journal entries with appropriate backup

• Prepare monthly P&L variance analysis for multiple agencies

• Propose journal entries to the Agency/Shared Service Center for review & approval

• Prepare Hyperion Financial Management walk to Microsoft Dynamics AX trial balance to ensure there

are no topside entries

• Reconcile Ghost Cards, I/C, OCI (bank statement), A/R, A/P, F/A, PPD and miscellaneous other Balance

Sheet accounts

• Reconcile WIP/Unbilled AR/Customer Advances-create journal entries for corrections

• Review B/S reconciliation package prepared by offshore team

• Prepare all working capital schedules in Hyperion Financial Management

• Prepare Internal Reporting Package schedules in Hyperion Financial Management on a quarterly basis

• Upload Financial Reporting Package results in Hyperion Financial Management monthly

• Other duties as needed

What you've done:

• Confidently engaged with leadership, clients, and internal teams

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in multiple entity environment

• Obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Worked with Microsoft Dynamics AX, Hyperion Financial Management, or equivalent

• Developed a high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
