We are seeking an experienced Manager for our Sourcing and Supplier Management group with a strong background in technology. This role requires an understanding of technology vendor landscape across software, security, infrastructure, and AI. The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic, and passionate about driving excellence in sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop, lead, and execute sourcing strategies for technology-focused categories, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Supplier Management: Oversee and cultivate long-term relationships with suppliers, ensuring top-quality service, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
- Technology Expertise: Leverage experience in software, infrastructure, and AI/machine learning to identify and engage with best-fit suppliers and partners.
- Negotiations: Lead complex contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to understand their needs, challenges, and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, ensuring business continuity and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of six years of experience in sourcing, supplier management, or a related role.
- Proven track record in the technology domain, particularly in software and IT infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience or strong familiarity with technology and AI.
- Advanced degree (MBA or related field).
- Relevant certifications in supply chain or procurement.
Compensation range: Base salary: $140,000 - $150,000 plus annual bonus (target 10%)
