Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HR Systems Analyst to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will support the HR Operations team and business leaders by providing expert-level hands-on support in HRIS, reporting, payroll, timekeeping, and other HR operations activities. This role will play a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and enhancing overall HR processes.

Essential Duties:

HRIS and Data Management

  • Provide advanced support for the administration, and maintenance of the Workday HRIS system.
  • Ensure high-quality HR transactional data management and maintain the accuracy of employee data.
  • Lead efforts to create and implement data maintenance processes and audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Identify root cause of data integrity issues, put plans in place to resolve and prevent issues.

HR Operations Support

  • Lead implementation of complex data corrections, organizational changes, and transfers of workers.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate into system requirements.
  • Participate in the setup and maintenance of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain the long-term integrity of the Workday environment, ensuring it remains flexible and responsive to business requirements.
  • Train end users on system – including HR, managers and employees as required.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR and Leadership decision-making.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide insights to all levels of leadership.

Project Management:

  • Assist in HR system projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, quickly resolve complex problems through analytical thinking, and meet deadlines.

Compliance and Audit Support

  • Support internal and external audits related to HR processes, ensuring compliance with existing audit standards.
  • Respond to and comply with any investigations, audits, and assessments, implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Collaboration and Partnering

  • Partner with HR Shared Services team members to support and assist with solutions and processes key to operations and growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to execute tasks and fulfill key deliverables within the HR functional areas.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational systems and enhance the employee experience.
  • Implement process improvements to streamline HR operations and increase efficiency.
  • Act as HRIS champion for the Energy business to ensure ESS, MSS and HRSS user acceptance.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications

Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant work experience may substitute for required education.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR or Business Systems Analysis.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.

  • Proficiency in Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Talent Management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data integrity and accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Candidate can be located either in Sparks, NV or De Soto, Kansas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Workday integrations and reporting tools.

  • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
