Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

Supervise daily line station operations for the purpose of full line maintenance and IFE operations. Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed on time, in accordance with the customer requirements, Part 145 regulations, company policy and procedures and comply with appropriate technical documentation.

Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders as required. Ensure staff work in a safe and compliant manner at all times, in accordance with the Safety Management System and best practices. Oversee and perform full line maintenance which may include but is not limited to Airframe, Engine and Aircraft In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems and other aircraft equipment to ensure system serviceability and functionality. Complete all administrative duties associated with maintenance actions performed. For supervisors that are also certifying, you will ensure that the certifying tasks are not undertaken if they conflict with management responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Schedule personnel in alignment with the customer’s flight schedule and shift patterns.

• Direct inventory control and local logistics of both customer and Panasonic Avionics owned capital assets.

• Encourage all personnel to report maintenance errors, incidents, and hazards.

• Manage office-specific responsibilities appropriately and effectively, including coordination with local security, airport authority, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure availability and effectiveness of overtime scheduling, vehicle maintenance, office administration and cleanliness,

• Manage effective communication with external suppliers, customer, Internal contacts include administration staff, finance, HR and other Panasonic Avionics departments as required to execute the workload.

• May also perform onboard maintenance activities and cover for absent employees as needed.

• Provide instruction on maintenance and specific aircraft types for OJT as and when needed.

• Oversee a compliant Stores operation ensuring staff are always working to regulatory requirements.

• Ensure effective tool control in place and all calibrated tooling is maintained as per tool requirements in line with regulations.

• Carry out staff competency assessments and staff performance reviews.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• CASA B1/B2 and/or FAA A&P license with minimum 2 of the type ratings: B777, A350, A380, B747, B767 preferred

• Maintain 6/24 currency on authorization preferred

• Minimum 3-5 years lead/supervisory experience in Aircraft Maintenance

• Hold a valid driver’s license and be able to get airside driving permit.
