Responsibilities
This position is responsible under limited supervision to interface with customers requesting technical support involving product selection/recommendations based on application details. Assist Product Manager and our Sales team.
Sales and Product Strategy Planning:
- Manage the sales, PSI/forecast and product strategy planning function within assigned products.
- Responsibility for budget creation, Sales promotion initiative, inventory management within the assigned products.
- Work closely with Operations, Channel Managers, Regional Sales, and Business Development
- Managers to meet business goals for our distributors and sale representative.
Account Communication / Customer Relationship:
- Create business reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for upper management.
- Communicate with overseas factories to obtain the necessary support for new and existing opportunities.
- Deal directly with customer engineering and assist in technical support for assigned products.
- Provide competitive product and pricing cross-references against our products.
- Research key vertical markets and applications that fit our products.
- Assist operations with expediting customer orders to avoid customer line downs.
Product knowledge:
- Provide technical support for Capacitor products to design in Panasonic Products.
- Develop proposal for new products and product enhancements with the factory.
- Support key customers on their product designs.
- Perform product reliability support.
- Create marketing content (blogs, trainings and more) which showcase the key features of our products.
- Assist the Product manager in special projects and product promotions.
Pricing Support:
- Support quote team in achieving competitive pricing to support new and existing business.
- Establish competitive mass production pricing levels for distributors to meet the needs of the market and maximize profit levels.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience:
- College degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required, with at least 2 years related experience.
Competencies:
- Proficient with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, and Power BI.
- Market trends analysis.
- Analytical; attention to detail; follow through
- Multi-tasking with disciplined time management
- Creative contributor; team oriented
Communications:
- Excellent presentation design and delivery skills in technical writing setting.
- Strong technical writing ability
- Strong listening skills
- Intercultural skill/mind.
Other Requirements:
- Approximately 10% travel.
- Expected to participate meetings in evening time.

The wage range of $95,000 - $110,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. *The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
