Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the evaluation and execution of both internal and external projects. This role entails full ownership of project planning, execution, documentation, reporting and change management. They will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery, managing all phases of the project lifecycle. Project scopes may be technical, process enhancements, the implementation of new or existing products and lifecycles, and be internal and external.
Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead projects using established PMO standards, adapting methodologies to fit cultural, situational, and ecosystem-specific needs.
  • Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with internal teams and stakeholders to define:
  • Project scope and objectives (Project Charter)
  • Key goals, deliverables, and success metrics
  • Risks and mitigation strategies
  • Milestones, schedules, and dependencies
  • Resource requirements and budget allocations
  • Support operational intake through a disciplined, scaled agile framework—emphasizing incremental delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement via backlog management, daily standups, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Schedule and lead project meetings, partnering with sponsors to ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and overall project health.
  • Monitor and report on project milestones, proactively addressing risks and blockers.
  • Conduct postmortem reviews to identify improvement opportunities and document actionable plans for future execution.

Communications Management

  • Establish and maintain intentional, consistent communication with stakeholders regarding project deliverables, timelines, risks, and progress.
  • Define and reinforce clear expectations with team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating to leadership when necessary to ensure project success.
  • Deliver weekly project summary updates to the PMO team, highlighting milestones, risks, and key decisions.

Education & Experience: Degree required/preferred

  • University degree in business or related field preferred
  • 3 years or more of direct experience in Project Management, Program Management, or similar experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or a related PMI Certification preferred

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Prioritizes the voice of the customer—internal or external—when designing and delivering project outcomes, ensuring alignment with business value and user needs.

Other Requirements: e.g., working conditions, physical requirements, travel, etc.

Travel Requirement: 25% travel to various locations in North America for internal collaboration or onsite for project execution. During large scale projects, the percentage could fluctuate. Adherence to corporate travel and entertainment policy is required.

  • Educate and coach team members and partners on project management processes, tools, and governance standards to foster alignment and accountability.

Process Management

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all project artifacts—including implementation plans, charters, scopes, deliverables, risks, milestones, schedules, and related materials—ensuring accuracy and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Archive all project documentation upon completion to support traceability, compliance, and future reference.
  • Establish and enforce adherence to standardized project reporting and monitoring procedures, ensuring alignment with PMO governance and audit readiness.
  • Maintain up-to-date project records in PMO tracking systems and tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI, JIRA), ensuring visibility into project status, dependencies, and performance metrics.
  • Support the PMO in managing a portfolio of internal and customer-facing initiatives by contributing to intake evaluation, prioritization, and continuous improvement of project execution processes.

Salary Range

$115,000- $130,000 + Bonus REQ-153714
