We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.

Job Summary:

The Administrative Coordinator will lead in the areas of production reporting, document control, time clock administration, headcount reporting, SAP status management, and visual aids throughout the process. It requires an individual with good interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and multitask in a high-volume production environment. Will assist in the coordination of schedules and priorities for the leadership team of the department.

  • Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Nights, B-Shift (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & every other Wednesday)

Essential Duties:

Team Leadership & Scheduling:

  • Set goals for the team and individuals to achieve daily production targets.

  • Assign, modify, and delegate daily/weekly workloads.

  • Relay concerns from clerks to production teams and develop corrective actions following the CIG model.

  • Assist with daily department scheduling and communication needs.

  • Oversee department roster and maintain accuracy.

  • Oversee the new employee orientation process.

Administrative & Reporting Duties:

  • Help prepare weekly reports and business updates for the production management team.

  • Schedule meetings on behalf of production management and prepare meeting agendas.

  • Follow up on department-level projects such as training requests, work orders, and MMS tickets.

  • Collect and prepare presentations and department data daily.

  • Collaborate with production support teams to create Requests for Approval (RFA).

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings for the GM, SPM, and APMs.

Team Support & Coordination:

  • Work with cross-functional teams as necessary to achieve daily targets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Provide training to others at the same or lower level within the functional area.

Compliance & General Requirements:

  • Ensure proper implementation of processes and procedures to meet industry, regulatory, and customer standards.

  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment within the functional area.

  • Must be able to work all scheduled shift hours.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. Respirator fit test will be required based on functional area.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:

  • Required: High school diploma, GED or 2 years of prior experience in functional area

Essential Qualifications:

  • Internal: Minimum of 1 year of relevant administrative experience

  • External: Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative experience

  • Ability to cooperate and work with related departments including overseas Japan.

  • Flexibility to solve issues without fixed thinking.

  • Self-Driven and able to overcome obstacles with little supervision.

  • Able to handle very confidential information.

  • Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure.

  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to put together proposals, project planning and status updates and executive presentations.

  • Excellent communication (spoken and written) skills, including the ability to explain and present technical information.

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing operations.

  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to identify and analyze data patterns and quality discrepancies.

  • Experience leading projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of administrative experience

  • Prior manufacturing and/or SAP experience is desirable.
