Execute strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives to optimize Panasonic Connect of North America's (PCONA) approximately $120M procurement spend across direct and indirect categories. Manage supplier relationships, ensure compliance, and lead a team of procurement professionals. This role requires 5–7 years of procurement experience with 2–4 years of leadership, strong execution capabilities, analytical skills, and proficiency with SAP Ariba and Zycus systems.

Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing Execution
- Lead RFP and RFQ processes, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations
- Develop business cases with ROI and NPV analysis
- Coordinate with PEXNA Legal for contracts, statements of work, and Privacy Impact Assessments
- Leverage PNA Procurement vendor relationships
- Track savings realization and ensure seamless supplier implementation
Procurement Compliance and Governance
- Enforce procurement policies and approval authorities
- Ensure proper use of SAP Ariba for requisitions and RFAs
- Support SOX compliance and audit requirements
- Maintain complete contract documentation in Zycus
- Monitor contract renewals
- Identify and escalate procurement risks
Supplier Relationship Management
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers
- Monitor performance using scorecards and KPIs
- Resolve supplier issues through root cause analysis
- Drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery
- Maintain supplier data in Zycus
- Support supplier diversity and sustainability objectives
Team Leadership
- Manage three direct reports (one Senior Procurement Specialist and two hourly operational staff) and coordinate with shared contractor
- Provide coaching, conduct performance reviews, and develop team capabilities
- Assign work and ensure quality deliverables
- Navigate union requirements for hourly staff
Analytics and Reporting
- Conduct spend analysis to identify opportunities
- Analyze total cost of ownership and develop cost models
- Track savings, budget performance, and KPIs
- Use Excel, PowerBI, or Tableau for data analysis and executive dashboards
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 5–7 years of progressive procurement or sourcing experience with 2–4 years of leadership (managing people, projects, or cross-functional initiatives)
- Professional certifications (CPSM, CIPS, CPM) or process improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma) strongly preferred
Core Competencies
- Strategic sourcing execution including RFP and RFQ development, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and business case development
- Supplier relationship management with proven ability to drive performance improvement
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities and stakeholder timelines
- Analytical and financial acumen including cost modeling, TCO analysis, ROI and NPV calculations, and data-driven decision making
- Stakeholder influence and collaboration skills; thrives in matrixed, fast-paced environments
- Self-motivated, proactive problem-solver with entrepreneurial mindset
Technical Skills
- SAP Ariba and Zycus proficiency required
- Advanced Excel required; PowerBI or Tableau preferred
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) helpful
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with ability to translate complex concepts for non-procurement stakeholders
Other
- Occasional travel (5–10%, domestic with potential international) for supplier visits and conferences
