The Business Technical Analyst will support the design, documentation, and compliance of business technology solutions. They will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to analyze processes, gather requirements, and ensure technology solutions align with compliance standards. The analyst will be an expert in UML, data modeling, and process mapping, translating business needs into clear technical documentation and supporting the governance of technology requests.

Responsibilities
Business & Technical Analysis
- Collaborate with business users to understand and document current processes, workflows, and system interactions.
- Gather and analyze requirements for new or updated technology solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and solution documentation.
Modeling & Documentation
- Create and maintain UML diagrams (class, sequence, state), ERDs, DFDs, and other models to represent business processes and system designs.
- Develop and update design documents, process maps, and data models as solutions evolve.
- Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Compliance & Governance Support
- Partner with compliance and procurement teams to review and track new technology requests.
- Ensure proposed solutions adhere to organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation of documentation for audits, reviews, and governance boards.
Stakeholder Communication
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to validate requirements and present models or findings.
- Communicate effectively with business, IT, and compliance teams to ensure alignment and understanding.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5+ years of experience in business analysis, technical analysis, or a similar role.
- Advanced skills in UML diagramming, data modeling, integration designs, and process mapping tools.
- Advanced skills in collaboration and process mapping tools (e.g., Miro, Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io).
- Experience documenting requirements, workflows, and technical solutions.
- Experience documenting Business Requirements for platforms such as Azure, SFDC, and SAP.
- Familiarity with compliance, governance, or regulatory processes in a business or IT context.
- Experience using JIRA or similar tools for requirements management and workflow tracking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous development experience in various languages (e.g., Apex, C#, Python, DAX).
- Experience supporting compliance or audit processes (e.g., CMMC, PIA, CUI).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a business and IT environment.
- Knowledge of data governance or master data management concepts.
- Experience with enterprise architecture platforms (e.g., SAP LeanIX, OrbusInfinity, Ardoq).
