This role ensures product manufacturability, quality, efficiency, and compliance with company and industry standards. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams such as Design Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to support new product introductions (NPI) and continuous improvement initiatives in cooling components and systems.

Key Responsibilities
Support the design and optimization of manufacturing processes for refrigeration and cooling systems, including evaporators, condensers, piping, and assemblies.
Collaborate with Design Engineering to improve product manufacturability and cost efficiency in cooling products.
Assist in new product introduction (NPI) for cooling systems, including pilot builds, process validation, and production ramp-up.
Develop and maintain process documentation such as work instructions, PFMEA, process flow diagrams, and control plans related to cooling assemblies.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback related to manufacturability, tolerance, and assembly of cooling components.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for cooling system failures or quality issues.
Work closely with Quality and Production teams to resolve defects related to brazing, welding, leak testing, and refrigeration performance.
Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
Perform time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing in cooling manufacturing areas.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including refrigerant handling standards.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting in cooling manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in manufacturing or refrigeration systems (internships or academic projects are acceptable).
Basic knowledge of refrigeration and cooling principles (heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid flow).
Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and BOM structures.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as brazing, welding, assembly, and leak testing.
Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
