The Director of Channel Sales is the most senior channel partner sales leader at Panasonic Connect. This role directs and supports the efforts of all channel sales resources and is accountable for overall channel programs and sales performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning channel sales objectives with PCONA business strategy.

Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
- Lead the channel sales organization's planning efforts, including strategy development, forecasting, inventory management, and budgeting.
- Establish optimal channel sales organization design, encompassing sales job roles, channel paths to market, and sales resource sizing and deployment.
- Align channel sales objectives with PCONA business strategy.
- Govern overall channel programs to support long-term business goals.
Sales Performance and Revenue
- Achieve assigned objectives for sales revenue.
- Achieve an appropriate balance in volume of products and services consistent with business unit and corporate objectives.
- Meet budgeted expense goals and optimize company investments in key expense categories.
Operations, Systems, and Change
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Team to establish, lead, and govern channel inventory strategy.
- Provide monthly inventory recommendations and reporting.
- Ensure support investments deliver productivity gains aligned with objectives.
- Partner with operations teams to ensure technology initiatives align with PCONA strategy.
People and Organization Leadership
- Provide leadership to the channel sales organization while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance, and ethical behavior.
- Establish and govern the channel sales organization's performance management system, including defining guiding performance principles, establishing and prioritizing critical performance measures, ensuring equitable allocation of objectives across channels and personnel, and holding sales and sales management associates accountable for results.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience with significant focus on channel sales and distribution models, inventory management, partner-led go-to-market strategies, cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Supply Chain, Operations), and government purchasing models and contracts.
- Demonstrated experience leading national or multi-region organizations.
- Proven accountability for revenue, expense management, and profitability (P&L impact).
- Experience working directly with senior executives at distributor and reseller organizations.

Salary Range
Salary $145k - $170k / OTE $310k - $335k REQ-154072
