Job Summary:

Panasonic Energy is seeking an HR Leader to join our team as an HR Manager, reporting to the Senior HRM. The Human Resources Manager is a strategic HR leader responsible for supporting Directors, GMs, and Executives across multiple business groups while helping the organization mature its people practices. This role partners closely with HR Centers of Excellence and cross‑functional leaders to build scalable processes, strengthen culture, and drive organizational effectiveness. Operating in a fast‑growing, start‑up‑like environment, the HR Manager must be comfortable with ambiguity, able to create structure where it doesn’t yet exist, and skilled at anticipating how decisions impact other departments and sites. This role plays a critical part in shaping PECNA’s evolving HR function, elevating HR capability, and ensuring a consistent, high‑performance employee experience across the enterprise.

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Build and implement HR strategies that support a scaling, constantly evolving business.
  • Lead cross-functional HR initiatives that create structure, consistency, and scalability across the enterprise.
  • Partner closely with HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Total Rewards, L&D, Legal) to design and roll out new processes, programs, and policies.
  • Ensure HR decisions consider downstream impacts on other departments, business groups, and sites.
  • Evolve HR policies and frameworks as the organization matures.

Organizational Development

  • Guide leaders through organizational design.
  • Build leadership capability frameworks, career paths, and succession plans from the ground up.
  • Mentor HRBPs and HR team members to elevate HR capability and consistency.

Culture & Engagement

  • Champion PECNA culture.
  • Design and implement engagement strategies that scale with the business.
  • Facilitate business reviews with Directors and GMs using workforce insights to support long-term planning.

Employee Relations Leadership

  • Provide oversight for complex employee relations matters and investigations.
  • Build trust through transparent communication and sound judgment.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop HRBPs.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employee’s, wearing PPE is a requirement for some roles at PECNA and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications

Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:

  • Basic/Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility.
  • Experience building HR processes, programs, or policies in a fast-paced or evolving environment.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic HR initiatives.
  • Strength in workforce analytics, organizational design, and change management.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build trust across all levels.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid change.
  • Ability to think enterprise-wide and anticipate cross-functional and cross-site impacts.
  • Alignment with Panasonic’s core principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Advanced HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP).
  • Experience in both union and non-union environments.
