Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal stakeholders
• Schedule and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and minimize delays
• Manage transportation documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork
• Monitor freight costs and support cost optimization initiatives
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers regarding shipment status
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations (e.g., IMMEX, customs requirements)
• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Support inventory control through proper tracking of shipments and discrepancies
• Analyze logistics data and generate reports on performance metrics (OTD, transit time, cost)
• Identify and resolve shipping issues, delays, or damages in a timely manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Purchasing, Warehouse) to ensure material flow continuity

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or traffic in a manufacturing environment (maquiladora preferred)

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of transportation processes (LTL, FTL, expedited shipments)
• Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs documentation
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reports, pivot tables)
