The Director of Financial Planning and Business Operations will join the Corporate Finance Team located in Houston. This individual will regularly interact with Firm Management as well as with professionals across the Finance/Accounting, HR, Legal, Tax and IT functions.

Responsibilities Include:

Core Monthly/Quarterly Functions

• Prepare monthly management reporting and dashboards.
• Assist in development of annual budget and maintain and re-forecast throughout the year.
• Pipeline management and reporting.
• Board/investor presentations.
• Collaborate with Tax to calculate quarterly distribution requirements.
• Provide support for cash planning (share repurchase and dividends, investment, etc.)

Other Key Functions

• Develop/Assist in ad hoc financial analysis to support the business, for example:
• Peer analysis
• Business development
• Real estate acquisition
• Long-term projection and valuation models
• Assist with external reporting and communications
• Investor presentations, earnings releases
• Public financial filings

Candidate Qualifications:

• 7-9 years of experience in an FP&A role, at least 3 years in a global public company.
• Financial services industry experience preferable

• Extremely organized: able to juggle multiple workstreams with tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to distill complex topics and analysis into concise and clear presentation materials
• Extremely thoughtful with excellent judgment
• Advanced MS Office skills, must be particularly strong with Excel
• Strong accounting knowledge including experience consolidating domestic and foreign subsidiaries
