Perella Weinberg is actively seeking a Communications & Marketing Analyst to work directly with the Head of Communications & Marketing. This position will be based in New York and will typically work in the office two days per week with the flexibility to work remotely on other days, subject to business needs. This role is part of the broader Communications & Marketing team and will support a proactive communications strategy both internally and externally. Ideal candidate has “can do” attitude, is interested in suggesting and generating new and improved collateral to improve comms function, has an extreme attention to detail, and is comfortable engaging with senior individuals across the Firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update company website, incl. being integral in website refresh (as part of broader brand refresh) in the near-term
  • Lead on strategic redesign of company intranet, along with maintenance and updating on daily basis
  • Manage Linkedin account, content and postings including producing posts and writing copy, proactively suggesting and managing posts is a must
  • Help with drafting of CEO communications incl. emails, town hall scripts and other employee engagement
  • Help with drafting of press releases and related firmwide communications
  • Support in management of media inquiries and PR relationships
  • Creation of talking points for CEO / senior leadership media interviews
  • Ownership (coordination and help in crafting agenda) of Partner / Managing Director calls held each month
  • Approve all communication / collateral being sent or posted externally incl. marketing emails from bankers, presentations at industry conferences, etc
  • Approval and release of internal deal announcements
  • Manage Corporate Communications calendar – liaise with other Corporate groups (Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, Technology & Finance) on timing and content of firmwide messaging; review firmwide communications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • 2-4 years’ experience, either at comms / PR agency, or in a similar role at a financial services firm
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with strong attention to detail; an ability to effectively multi-task
  • Comfortability with Microsoft programs; understanding of website platforms and social media strategy
  • Familiarity with crafting narrative and managing PR strategy
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work well in cross-functional teams

The annualized base salary for this position is $80,000 - $105,000.

The annualized base salary range represents low and high ends of the base pay range for this position. The specific base salary an employee in this job classification receives depends on a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic work location, prior employment history/experience, job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.

Base pay is just one component of PWP’s total compensation package that may be available to employees. Depending on the position and other factors, other rewards may also include discretionary bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), paid time off, and many other benefits, subject to applicable eligibility criteria and Firm policies.
