Investment Banking Analyst- Capital Markets

Perella Weinberg Partners LP is seeking an analyst to join its expanding Capital Markets Advisory team. We are looking for candidates with experience in investment or corporate banking especially capital markets advisory, leveraged finance or related advisory services.
PWP’s Capital Markets Advisory team provides independent advice to help clients navigate through increasingly complex markets. Our services include identifying, structuring and negotiating financing solutions.
The new team member will assist the senior members of the team in advising clients and executing transactions. Our four senior team members have a combined 80 years of investment banking experience. We expect the new team member to have an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to work as part of a lean team as well as cross functionally with all the industry sector teams in the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete credit analysis / due diligence on proposed transactions including analyzing cash flows and credit quality, review of comparable and precedent financings, and review of potential credit markets and investors
- Prepare, in coordination with industry teams, materials supporting client engagements or discussions such as management presentations or rating agency presentations
- Provide transaction execution support for capital markets advisory assignments across sectors including analyzing and comparing terms from different lenders
- Participate in deal origination and client marketing efforts, including the development of ideas that assist in winning mandates
The annualized base salary for this position is $110,000 - $150,000.
The annualized base salary range represents low and high ends of the base pay range for this position. The specific base salary an employee in this job classification receives depends on a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic work location, prior employment history/experience, job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
Base pay is just one component of PWP’s total compensation package that may be available to employees. Depending on the position and other factors, other rewards may also include discretionary bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), paid time off, and many other benefits, subject to applicable eligibility criteria and Firm policies.
