Our internal firm services team focuses on the firm’s critical business needs. At Plante Moran, we have the privilege of serving internal stakeholders and providing consultative services as they face challenges and seek new opportunities.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Key resource to build and support people data and analytics from Workday and other HR systems across the firm.
Troubleshoot and enhance current published Workday reports and dashboards.
Build and create reporting and visualizations in Workday, Power BI, and Excel to deliver actionable insights.
Intake reporting requests and identify the best data and solution to fulfill the need.
Assist with HR reporting helpdesk items and escalate issues appropriately.
Run assigned and ad hoc data requests and analysis for workforce metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover, diversity, engagement).
Perform data analysis and investigation, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Use tools such as Workday, Power BI, Excel, and other internal applications to investigate, transform, or analyze data.
Conduct data cleansing, auditing, and validation activities.
Review and improve HR processes using analytics and MS Power Apps where applicable.
Analytical abilities required:
Understand HR processes and terminology.
Creative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Ability to translate business questions into data-driven deliverables.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to:
Promote positive working relationships with diverse personalities/roles at all levels in the firm.
The qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field required.
3-5 years of experience in people analytics or HR reporting with report writing experience required.
Strong aptitude for data analysis required.
Report writing experience required.
Familiarity with HR databases and systems preferred.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VBA preferred).
Experience with Workday reporting required, Power BI experience preferred.
Collaborative project experience as part of a team or leading projects.
Must be flexible with work hours if required.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the firm are required.
Experienced working with regional or global team set-ups/stakeholders would be a strong advantage.
