As a Security Analyst within PNC's Enterprise Technology and Security organization, you will be in our Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. Weekly time in the office is required.As a Security Analyst, you will be part of our Insider Threats / Employee Investigations group. In this role you will be responsible for researching potential employee fraud and determining whether or not the claim is valid.
Due to the nature of the position, we are seeking individuals with investigative experience who are familiar with Mainframe, Genesis, XNET, teller logs and/or teller systems. Candidates should also be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience working in a retail branch preferred.

Job Description
• Reviews and investigates cases of potential employee fraud and/or misconduct, Code of Ethics violations and reporting potential and actual losses based on investigative results. Minimizes fraud, Anti-Money Laundering and/or organizational risk. Performs early detection of suspicious activity.
• Researches and analyzes bank activities and reports to detect and prevent possible fraudulent and suspicious activities by employees. Identifies gaps and control enhancements.
• Uses defined research procedures to identify and resolve issues. Identifies trends and escalates as appropriate.
• Follows standards and practices to mitigate fraud, Anti-Money Laundering and other risk exposure and loss. Shares best practices among the team and/or service partners.
• Prepares and maintains appropriate documentation of analysis performed and coordinates with internal or external stakeholders as appropriate.

Job Description
- Provides technical evaluation and analysis. Supports activities, process, and tools needed to improve overall security posture of the organization.
- Applies security concepts, reviews information, executes defined tasks, analyzes requirements, reviews logs, and creates documentation. Performs investigation and data loss prevention, data manipulation, and coordination of activities. Performs actions to address or mitigate risks and vulnerabilities. Reviews and defines controls.
- Advises on more complex security procedures and products for clients, security administrators and network operations. Participates in enforcement of control security risks and threats; potential of one more controls subject to manager discretion. Shares knowledge with staff.
- Conducts security assessments and other information security routines consistently. Investigates and recommends corrective actions for data security related to established guidelines.
