As a Strategy and Planning Advisor Sr within PNC's Enterprise Innovation organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL, Philadelphia, PA, Downers Grove, IL or Cleveland, OH. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

As a Strategy and Planning Advisor Sr, you will be responsible for in depth consultation with our business partners, where you will take product and experience ideas from their initial business needs all the way through to implementation. This position will require you to understand the needs and operations of our business partners in order to make viable decisions around innovation. You will be expected to bring forward an informed perspective on user and customer needs and culture. Additionally, you would be responsible for developing team wide strategies, including supporting various team objectives and culture, as well as mentoring junior staff members.

Due to the nature of this role, we are seeking individuals who have extensive consulting experience. Candidates should have experience with executive facing, high level presentation, as well as familiarity and practice with core human centered and design thinking approaches for problem solving.

Job Description

  • Drives specific strategic planning initiatives, including analysis, oversight and support for solution development.
  • Provides advanced expertise to create the definition, understanding and framing of complex business initiatives.
  • Leads advanced planning, analysis, solution development and presentation for more complex strategic initiatives. Ensures quality and accuracy of data elements relative to the initiatives. Mentors and educates team members regarding advanced planning practices.
  • Analyzes and recommends solutions for key initiatives. Develops structured and compelling presentations to highlight key findings and makes recommendations to key decision makers within the company.
  • Collaborates with the line of business to implement recommended strategic solutions.
