As a Software Engineer, Lead within the team Technology group you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, Al or Dallas Tx. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion

This position will be leading our SRE Runbook Automation team, standing up an automated incident resolution framework and developing runbooks in Python, TrueSight Orchestrator (TSO), and Ansible.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 3+ Years experience in a Development or DevOps position
• 3+ Years experience with Python or an equivalent scripting language (Ruby, Bash, Powershell, etc)

Additional preferred experience:

• 3+ Years experience in Ansible
• 2+ Years experience in Runbook Automation
• Examples: Rundeck, TrueSight Orchestrator, Jenkins
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering

Job Description

  • Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitates complex problem resolution.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
