As a Business Analytics Group Manager within PNC's Enterprise Change Office, you can be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; or Birmingham, AL.

This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.

As a Business Analytics Group Manager within PNCs Enterprise Change Office (ECO), you will be responsible for the strategic vision and oversee implementation of the following initiatives within the ECO:

- Predictive Modeling: Implementation of predictive modeling methodologies and establishing effective ongoing monitoring for predictive models within the ECO. Topics include, but are not limited to, issues management volume modeling, probability of project success, forecasting resource needs, project completion estimations, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Data Governance: Ongoing support, implementation, and execution of governance policies and procedures, ensuring effective data quality management oversight for data used within ECO reporting and predictive modeling
- Metrics & Analytics: Building and maintaining a suite of automated business analytics tools enabling reporting in the following areas – resource planning/allocation, expense management, and project progress/success benchmarking
- KPI & KRI Development: Partner with ECO leadership to drive innovation in key performance indicators, and 2nd Line of Defense in Board and Management level key risk indicators reporting and further the “data-driven decision-making” philosophy within the ECO

Other key qualities include:
- Ability to garner diverse stakeholder buy-in on enhancements of existing resources and implementation of new, cutting-edge analytics tools and processes
- Comfort navigating large, multi-line-of-business projects and establishing unified project vision amongst stakeholders with differing business needs
- Strong understanding of large, enterprise-wide change management methodologies and strategic planning
- Demonstrated ability in relationship management, establishing strong partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups in varying business units and seniority levels
- Focus on fostering an environment that enables continued staff development and effective utilization of staff strengths
- Desire to assess and challenge current-state policies and procedures to drive change at the enterprise-level

Job Description

  • Directs the strategic design, management, and implementation of an enterprise-wide business analytics programs to drive customer solutions, service innovation and profitability.
  • Leads development and execution of multiple complex analytical solutions to meet business requirements .
  • Supervises the research, development and implementation of new and emerging analytics technologies; leads technology-based business opportunities.
  • Provides oversight of into implementation mechanisms for ensuring that information provided is accurate, meaningful, has integrity, manages risk and meets the needs of the senior leadership.
  • Directing, motivating, developing and managing the performance of the management team and key staff.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
