What you’ll do

• Serve as the team’s primary point of contact for the India office.
• Lead finance oversight for India-related activities, including Corporate Accounting, Market Data Research Finance, Vendor & Operations, and Procurement.
• Provide senior-level financial partnership and decision support, translating commercial and operational priorities into disciplined financial outcomes while ensuring compliance with India-specific statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements.
• Partner on complex, cross-functional initiatives impacting the India office, coordinating across global Finance, Technology, Legal, Regulatory Reporting, and Tax teams.
• Represent the Finance team locally with regulators, auditors, and external service providers, including regional and offshore partners.
• Balance financial control, scalability, and growth by aligning finance practices with commercial and operational needs.
• Support local hiring, onboarding, and career development initiatives in partnership with HR and functional leadership.

What’s required

• CA, MBA (in finance), or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in finance, market data, or financial operations roles.
• Demonstrated experience acting as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders, with the ability to operate effectively across geographies and functions.
• Experience building, scaling, or leading finance operations in India or global capability centers, including people management and talent development.
• Strong judgment, analytical capability, and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments with competing priorities.
• Clear, concise communication with the ability to represent the Finance team effectively in a global firm.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
