They play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Those in data science and machine learning engineering at PwC will focus on leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large datasets and drive data-driven decision making. You will work on developing predictive models, conducting statistical analysis, and creating data visualisations to solve complex business problems.

The Opportunity

As part of the Data and Analytics Engineering team you will define and execute AI strategy aligned with PwC's Sustainability goals. As a Director you will set the strategic direction, lead business development efforts, and oversee multiple projects while maintaining impactful executive-level client relations.

Responsibilities

- Lead the development of AI solutions addressing sustainability challenges through advanced techniques

- Oversee the creation of web applications utilizing modern frameworks such as Angular and React.js

- Apply advanced AI methodologies to enhance project outcomes

- Mentor team members on recommended practices in design patterns and methodologies

- Work with diverse teams to drive AI-focused initiatives

- Promote innovation and responsible AI practices within the organization

What You Must Have

- Bachelor's Degree

- 10 years of technology leadership experience with substantial responsibility for AI or machine learning initiatives

What Sets You Apart

- Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred

- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and standards

- Understanding of regulatory environments impacting sustainability

- Delivering AI-powered solutions in Sustainability or ESG

- Understanding AI/ML methodologies and traditional algorithms

- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and web technologies

- Defining and driving AI strategy for enterprise solutions

- Engaging clients and translating technical concepts into business

- Fostering a culture of innovation and responsible AI

The salary range for this position is: $119,000 - $389,500, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
