The Opportunity
As a Minneapolis Assurance Manager - Health Industries, you will play a pivotal role in providing independent and objective evaluations of financial statements and internal controls, enhancing the credibility and reliability of information for various stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on obtaining reasonable confidence that financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and issue reports that reflect your findings.
As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to meet client expectations. With your growing business knowledge, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same.
In this role at PwC, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will address conflicts or issues, engaging in conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Leading audit and assurance workstreams focused on financial statement audits within the health industries sector
- Evaluating compliance with regulations and assessing governance and risk management processes
- Managing client relationships and expectations to deliver quality service and insights
- Guiding teams in the application of auditing methodologies and financial reporting standards
- Utilizing analytical skills to identify financial trends and potential risks
- Reviewing and verifying financial documents to validate accuracy and compliance
- Developing and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Implementing data analysis and visualization techniques to improve audit processes
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in challenging conversations with stakeholders
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- At least one of the following: an active CPA License
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting
- Demonstrating proficiency in Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards
- Utilizing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Excelling in client management and relationship building
- Leveraging data analysis and interpretation skills for financial audits
- Embracing change and innovation in auditing methodologies
- Mentoring and coaching team members to enhance performance
The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $252,450. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $297,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
